Steve Hill – The One-Man Blues Rock Band
(Manhaton Records/No Label Records – 2018)

Steve caught live at La Chapelle, Quebec, Canada on November 30th, 2017 where he tells us there are no overdubs, tape loops or anything on the recording – what you hear is exactly what happened – a three piece rock-outfit done by one-man!
Highlights include the ballsiness of 'The Collector' and 'Never In Such A Long Time', the harmonica/guitar led 'Tough Luck' or later on the gorgeous acoustic 'Nothing New'; the mindblows of 'The Ballad Of Johnny Wabo' with slide guitar to die for and finishes up on a belting version of Hendrix's 'Voodoo Child (Slight Return).
Simply absolutely outstanding!
