Ross Byron – Red & Black
(S/R – 2019)

A very varied album from an Ex/Original member of The Spin Doctors (pre-Wiki info) who is as a vocalist, bassist & also guitarist.
It starts off with the nasty and aggressive sounding 'Private War' and later there's some jazz and reggae in 'Coffee & Tea'; the driving melodics of 'Sorry' not to mention the knockout guitar solo there – extremely impressive! Or what about the quirk of 'Rehab'; the acoustic starting 'Free To Be A Slave' and full-on woodiness of the ballad 'House Is Empty'.
Decent enough release!
